Today is veterans day and a march and ceremony will take place in Duluth. I am planning on going and will report back here later.

I guess I don’t see a problem is having a picture ID when you go and vote. It would ensure who you are.

For the record I don’t like the instant runoff voting system at all.

The election is now over. Yesterday Duluthians voted on what direction they want the school district to go. They also elected three new councilors and one incumbent.

Kelly I understand your point. I think something needs to be done to stop illegal voting. It simple happens and nothing is being done about it. It seems like no one cares.

The union has chose it’s candidates for the Duluth School Board. They have chosen to keep the current board members, meaning they support the red plan.

The school districts red plan was never put up to a vote. Sence that point there has been a fight between those that support the plan and those that don’t [...]

Just my thoughts that is all. Do I want them to be more effective not really. That however is a way I think it is a way to be more effetive.

Last night the Northland Anti-War Coalition was at it again. They held yet another rally against the war in Afghanistan.  They held a march from Park Point to Canal Park. The starting place was the US. Army Reserve Center.
